AFITI has consolidated its facilities in Arganda del Rey (Madrid). The Reaction to Fire laboratory has been relocated from Toledo; the process includes technical and administrative actions, including the update of the corresponding ENAC accreditation annex.
Fires in underground car parks represent a growing risk, especially with the increasing integration of electric and hybrid vehicles. This scenario poses technical safety challenges, both in emergency response and in the design of passive fire protection systems.
CE marking ensures that a pedestrian, industrial, or commercial door meets essential requirements related to safety, health, energy efficiency, and mechanical resistance as defined by EU legislation. It is a prerequisite for distributing these products within the European Economic Area.
