AFITI: Strategic Partner of the Eduardo Torroja Institute in the Technical Evaluation of Innovative Products. Article 5.3 of the Fire Protection Installations Regulations (RIPCI).

The Eduardo Torroja Institute of Construction Sciences (IETcc), part of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), has been a leading authority for over six decades in the technical evaluation of innovative products in the construction industry. Through the Technical Suitability Document (DIT) procedure within the European Organization for Technical Approvals (UEAtc), the IETcc sets quality and safety standards for the sector.

 After years of close collaboration, AFITI has been recognized by the Eduardo Torroja Institute as a collaborating entity in activities related to the technical evaluation of non-traditional or innovative fire protection products, which lack specific regulations and present risks, as established in Article 5.3 of the Fire Protection Installations Regulations (RIPCI).

 AFITI is a prominent reference in activities such as DIT, ETE, DITplus, and DITEX, recommended by the DIT Unit of the IETcc-CSIC.
