The Active Fire Protection Systems and Equipment laboratory has the task of determining the conformity of products and systems with the normative requirements (UNE, EN, IMO, UL, ISO,…) that are applicable to the same.

AFITI is accredited by the National Accreditation Entity (ENAC) for conducting tests according to a great number of standards; which enables our clients to provide proof of compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements; which, in Spain, are defined in the Regulation on Fire Protection Installations, RIPCI (RD 513/2017).

Moreover, AFITI is recognized by other foreign organizations and entities for the entry into the international market.

In addition to the standardized tests included in our scope of accreditation, AFITI Active Fire Protection Systems and Equipment laboratory designs and executes specific test protocols tailored to the specific needs of its clients.
