AFITI attends the Security Forum 2024, discussing building materials and elements and their relationship with the building envelope from the perspective of a fire testing laboratory.

The Security Forum 2024, held in the vibrant city of Barcelona, Spain, brought together prominent professionals and experts from the security sector to share knowledge, innovations, and cutting-edge practices. The Association for the Promotion of Research and Technology in Fire Safety (AFITI) presented a lecture titled “Fire Behavior of Materials and Construction Elements and their Relationship with the Building Envelope from the Perspective of a Fire Testing Laboratory.”

The lecture by AFITI, led by our director Tomás de la Rosa with the support of Estrella Duran and Krissel Pérez, addressed one of the most critical aspects of modern construction: fire safety in the building envelope.
